Spacious. Inviting. Relaxed. The Homestead is a one-and-a-half story home with a steep roof, A-frame dormers in the front and a flat shed dormer in the back. The dormers don’t just look great, they also give the second floor generous room for bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as bonus loft space that can be used for playing games, watching TV, or a quiet sitting room.
This Cape Cod design originated in the 17th century New England, it’s steep roof being well adapted for the high snow loads and stark weather of the Cape. This makes the Homestead well suited to many retreat locales, whether a hill country haven or a seaside sanctuary.
The Homestead features an open floor plan on the main floor, with a large shared living space. The kitchen, dining room, and family room create a large open space where your family and friends can relax and enjoy each other’s company. There’s also room for a large master suite on the main floor, creating a private refuge away from the rest of the house.
A large site-built porch out front gives ample room for relaxing or entertaining.
